Kenya Power has announced widespread planned power interruptions across multiple regions of Kenya on Thursday, October 23, for maintenance and network upgrades. Residents in affected areas are advised to prepare for outages, mostly spanning from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Affected regions include Nairobi, Bomet, Busia, Migori, Kiambu, and the Coast Region (Mombasa & Kilifi Counties).
• Key areas like Eastleigh in Nairobi, Kilgoris in Bomet, Matayos in Busia, Macalder in Migori, and parts of Thogoto in Kiambu will experience interruptions.
• Specific institutions such as Nairobi National Polytechnic, Don Bosco High School, Alliance Boys and Girls, and Mt. Kenya University are also within outage zones.
