A tragic incident in Mai Mahiu, Naivasha, saw a man allegedly kill his two young children before dying by suicide in Duka Moja, Narok County. The man reportedly poisoned his children, aged six and four, with tainted porridge before hanging himself.

• The victims' bodies, along with the father's, were transported to Narok County Hospital Mortuary for postmortem examinations.
• The children's mother, Mary Karuku, reported her estranged husband for taking the children without permission, only to discover the tragedy the following morning.
