Everstrong Capital, a US infrastructure firm, has partnered with UK-based project management firm Turner & Townsend to construct the Ksh464 billion Nairobi-Mombasa expressway. This collaboration aims to enhance the delivery capabilities for the significant infrastructure project.

• The expressway is valued at Ksh464 billion ($3.6 billion) and will be a 459km transport corridor.
• Turner & Townsend will provide world-class leadership in programme management, governance, cost control, and risk oversight for the project.
• This partnership follows the rejection of Everstrong Capital's initial feasibility study report by the Public Private Partnership (PPP) Committee in July, requiring a restructured proposal.
