Safaricom has partnered with Naivas Supermarket to make its 5G Home Internet devices available across all Naivas outlets in Kenya. The 5G routers are now being sold for KES 2,999 in all Naivas supermarkets nationwide as part of an aggressive strategy to make 5G a dominant home internet choice. This retail expansion coincides with both companies' anniversaries. In addition to expanding availability, Safaricom has upgraded its entry-level 5G Home Internet plan in response to user feedback. The plan's speeds have been increased to 15Mbps and the Fair Usage Policy (FUP) has been raised to 450GB, all without a price hike.
