NACADA, in a joint operation with Police and NGAO, seized over 50,000 litres of illicit alcohol in Kericho County, described as one of the most significant recent seizures in the region.

• 50,000 litres of kangara, 100 litres of chang’aa, and 1,000 litres of molasses were confiscated and destroyed in Kaplelartet Location.
• The multi-agency team was led by NACADA Chief Executive Officer Dr. Anthony Omerikwa.
• This crackdown is part of the government's Rapid Results Initiative (RRI) against illicit alcohol, intensifying during school holidays to protect youth from substance abuse.
