• The proposal, to be presented in the coming weeks, allocates 1.5 trillion KSh each to infrastructure, energy, and agriculture, specifically for bringing two million acres under irrigation.
• President Ruto stated that the transformation would rely on strategic partnerships and prudent resource management, not new taxes, and dismissed claims of Kenya being a failed state.
• During a visit to Vihiga County, Ruto also announced the construction of 3,000 affordable housing units and a 300 million KSh investment in new market facilities, urging residents to register for the Social Health Authority (SHA).
