The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) has launched an investigation into the death of a robbery with violence suspect, Kelvin Oduor (aka Kevo), who allegedly died by suicide at Kisumu Central Police Station.

• Officers from IPOA have recorded statements from police personnel on duty.
• The deceased was arrested on Monday, October 27, and reportedly found hanging on Friday, October 31.
• A post-mortem examination will be conducted to determine the exact cause of death.
