The family of a police officer shot dead in Turkana while guarding KCSE exams has appealed to the government for support. The officer, identified as the family's main provider, was killed by suspected bandits who stole his AK-47 rifle.

• His widow, who shares a baby with him, revealed plans for a business in 2026 and requested government assistance in the form of a job or business venture.
