Kenya has officially inaugurated a consulate general office in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, aimed at bolstering diplomatic and economic ties and serving the significant Kenyan diaspora in the region. This move aligns with Kenya's foreign policy to extend services to its citizens living abroad.

The new consulate will serve more than 160,000 Kenyans residing in Jeddah and surrounding areas.
The opening was officiated by Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Korir SingOei, representing the Kenyan government.
The consulate’s mission includes strengthening bilateral cooperation and creating new opportunities in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and Kenya’s Vision 2030 development agendas.
