The Kenyan government has launched a 24/7 Diaspora Affairs Call Centre in Nairobi to provide immediate consular and welfare assistance to Kenyans living, working, or traveling abroad.

• The centre operates around the clock, addressing emergencies such as arrests, medical crises, natural disasters, human trafficking, and lost passports.
• The initiative, located at the State Department for Diaspora Affairs headquarters in Old Mutual Towers, also offers tele-counselling and psychosocial assistance.
• The Cabinet Secretary emphasized that the call centre serves as a "lifeline" for citizens abroad, extending government care beyond national borders.
