Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen has deployed six new County Commissioners to various counties and created three new administrative subregions in Nairobi to enhance efficiency and service delivery.

• The new County Commissioners are for Tana River, Taita Taveta, West Pokot, Kajiado, Kericho, and Vihiga.
• The three new Nairobi subregions—Nairobi North, Nairobi East, and Nairobi West—will be overseen by Rose Wanjiru Chege, Patrick Simiyu Werre, and Simon Odhiambo Osumba, respectively.
• These changes, effective immediately, align with commitments from the Jukwaa La Usalama public forums to strengthen government coordination and bring services closer to citizens.
