Tensions are rising within Kenya's united opposition as Cleophas Malala, Deputy Leader of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), accused Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya of colluding with President William Ruto's administration.

• Malala alleged that Natembeya, Deputy Leader of DAP-Kenya, was bribed to disrupt opposition campaigns and influence by-election outcomes in favor of pro-government candidates, specifically citing the Kisa East Member of County Assembly polls on Friday, November 14.
• Malala claimed Natembeya was working with the National Intelligence Service (NIS) to create division between DCP and DAP-Kenya.
• This accusation comes shortly after DAP-Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa dismissed rumors of working with Ruto's government, stating he would only consider talks if all opposition leaders were involved and reaffirmed the commitment to unseat President Ruto in 2027.
