• Tactics included state-backed trolling, smear campaigns, threats, disinformation, and alleged "enforced disappearances" targeting activists like Hanifa Adan.
• The government allegedly used social media as a "tool of repression" to hijack trending algorithms and bury protest hashtags like #Occupy, while also launching a parallel online campaign.
