The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) reaffirmed its dominance in Kenya's Coast region after a decisive victory over Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's DCP party in the recent Magarini by-elections. ODM leaders celebrated the win, criticizing Gachagua's attempts to challenge their stronghold.

• ODM's Harrison Garama Kombe won the Magarini parliamentary seat with 17,909 votes, against DCP's Stanley Kombe's 8,907 votes.
• The celebration was held during a thanksgiving rally on November 28, 2025, attended by Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung'aro and Mombasa Governor Abdullswamad Sherrif Nassir.
• Governor Mung'aro dismissed Rigathi Gachagua's influence in Coast politics and responded to bribery allegations made before the elections.
• ODM also secured victories in by-elelctions in Kasipul and Unguja constituencies.
