A high-level United States delegation recently concluded a week-long tour of the Horn of Africa, engaging with government officials and business leaders to discuss trade, investment, and security along the Red Sea corridor.

• The delegation included Operations Commander Gen. Dagvin Anderson of U.S. Africa Command (AFRICOM) and U.S. Deputy Ambassador Justin Davis.
• Meetings were held in Puntland, Ethiopia, Somaliland, and Somalia to address counter-terrorism cooperation, maritime security, and opportunities for economic growth.
• Discussions with the Somaliland business community, including Abdirashid Duale, CEO of Dahabshiil Group, highlighted the need for predictable policies and stronger commercial ties.
