The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) arrested three suspects on Friday, December 5, 2025, in connection with the fraudulent transfer of a National Social Security Fund (NSSF) property valued at KES 350 million.

The suspects are accused of unlawfully acquiring a three-hectare plot of land in Athi River, Mavoko Municipality, by forging documents.
The investigation began after the NSSF filed a complaint on September 2, 2025, reporting that unknown individuals had obtained a title deed for the land.
Detectives discovered a fake transfer document created on May 27, 2010, bearing forged signatures of the NSSF Board of Trustees.
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) recommended charges including conspiracy to defraud and forgery.
