A talented team of Kenyan youth swimmers has departed for Luanda, Angola, to compete in the 4th African Youth Games from December 13β20, 2025. This event serves as a qualification pathway for the Dakar 2026 Youth Olympic Games.
- Team Kenya's participation is fully sponsored by the government.
- Key swimmers include Macrine Kalombo (freestyle, breaststroke), Iqbaal Bayusuf (multiple races), Neo Olengo (breaststroke specialist), and Ruth Lindkvist (backstroke, freestyle).
- Pendo Anampiu and Aryan Joseph will represent Kenya in the 5km open-water race.
