The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) are intensifying a nationwide traffic crackdown during the holiday season in Kenya to reduce road accidents and curb corruption, with mobile courts deployed for instant prosecution.

The operation targets high-risk road corridors and major urban routes, with officers from EACC monitoring enforcement to deter bribery.
Interior Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen announced the multi-agency enforcement, while EACC regional director for Western Kenya Eric Ngumbi warned motorists against offering bribes.
Motorists travelling to Western and Nyanza regions are advised to use alternate routes such as the Nairobi–Suswa–Narok route to ease congestion.
