Canon has expanded its coral conservation program to East Africa, partnering with Kenya's Oceans Alive Foundation to link reef restoration with the sustainability of coastal economies.

• Coral reefs, covering less than one percent of the ocean floor, support about a quarter of all marine life, but over half have been lost in the past three decades.
• The initiative will focus on scaling up science-based reef restoration, community training, and data-driven monitoring, with Canon supporting coral nurseries and using advanced imaging technology.
