A recent TIFA Research survey reveals widespread public dissatisfaction in Kenya, with only 17% of Kenyans believing the country is heading in the right direction under President Ruto's leadership.

• The poll, conducted between November 10 and 17, 2025, found that 68% of respondents feel Kenya is on the wrong path.
• The survey interviewed 2,053 adults across all 47 counties, with Mt Kenya region showing particularly strong dissatisfaction.
• Overall, nearly two-thirds of Kenyans hold a negative view of the country’s trajectory, outnumbering optimists by a margin of four to one.
