The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced that by-elections will be held on February 26, 2026, in Isiolo South Constituency, Muminji and Evurore wards in Embu County, and West Kabras ward in Kakamega County.
- The Isiolo South seat became vacant following the death of former MP, Mohamed Tubi, on November 12, 2025.
- Newtown Kariuki and Duncan Mbui resigned from their Muminji and Evurore Ward seats, respectively, to contest the Mbeere North parliamentary by-election on November 27, 2025.
- Political parties have until January 16, 2026, to submit the names of their candidates, while independent candidates must do so by January 2, 2026.
- Campaigning will run from January 22 to February 23, 2026, between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm daily.
