Investigations are underway in Mbooni Sub-county after a 26-year-old lorry driver was found murdered in Kasyelia village, Tawa area. The driver, transporting 259 bags of cement, is believed to have been carjacked before his body was discovered with visible injuries.

• The lorry, registration number KDR 422F, was found abandoned in Kithuia shopping centre.
