• The Governor had previously visited Wamalwa Kijana Referral Hospital on December 24, where he cleared patient bills totaling over Ksh6 million.
• Natembeya advocated for traditional rites, including placing a torch in Jirongo's casket, which are typically performed when a prominent figure dies under controversial circumstances.
