Kenya Met has issued a weather advisory predicting moderate rains this weekend for parts of Nyanza, Western, and Rift Valley regions, despite prevailing sunny and dry conditions. These showers are expected to begin on Friday and continue through Monday next week, primarily in the afternoons.

• Rains are also forecast for parts of Central Kenya, including Nairobi County, and South Eastern Lowlands, particularly on Sunday.
• Kenya Met warned of very low night temperatures, dropping to 7°C, in Central Kenya and Nairobi for the next five days.
• Most of the country, including North Eastern and coastal regions, will experience sunny and dry conditions with daytime temperatures soaring to around 38°C.
