National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah has attributed low voter turnout in Kiambu County during the ongoing UDA grassroots elections to delays in the delivery of digital voting gadgets. He assured party members that extra time would be added to compensate for the lost time.

• Kiambaa MP John Njuguna Kawanjiku called for party civic education and more voting gadgets in areas with high voter numbers.
• Turnout in Kikuyu and Kiambaa Constituencies was relatively fair, with voting observed at Kikuyu and Gachie Town Primary School.
