The National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) successfully busted a sophisticated counterfeit alcohol operation in a residential house in Kenol, Murang’a County, seizing a significant amount of illicit brewing materials and finished products.

• Over 200 cartons of finished counterfeit alcohol, along with industrial ethanol and fake Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) stamps, were discovered.
• Dr. Anthony Omerikwa, NACADA Chief Executive Officer, condemned the operation as "attempted murder" and vowed to prosecute those involved and forfeit their assets.
• The raid followed precise intelligence and is part of an intensified national crackdown, coming shortly after a Ksh 13 million counterfeit alcohol bust in Machakos County.
