A major traffic snarl-up occurred along Thika Road on Monday, January 16, following an accident involving a lorry and a 14-seater PSV matatu near GSU Headquarters.

• The incident brought traffic to a near standstill for motorists heading towards Kahawa West, Githurai 44 and 45, Kahawa Sukari, and Ruiru.
• The Motorists Association of Kenya confirmed the incident and urged drivers to exercise caution, advising alternative routes like Kiambu Road.
• The lorry had toppled, completely blocking the highway, while the matatu remained upright but appeared to have been struck from behind.
