Msossi co-founder and CEO Kevin Otiende stated the platform helps restaurants, supermarkets, and hotels sell excess food, turning potential losses into savings.
Supermarkets reportedly lose 5–12 per cent of fresh food, while restaurants lose up to 30 per cent, highlighting the scale of the problem the app seeks to address.
