The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced significant traffic disruptions along the route from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to James Gichuru as a major road expansion project begins. The works, which commenced on Thursday, January 15, aim to enhance safety and reduce congestion on the 27-kilometre stretch.

• The project involves capacity enhancement, landscaping, and beautification along the JKIA to ABC Place (A8/B10) highway.
• KeNHA has advised motorists to exercise caution, observe all traffic signage, and maintain low speeds within the project corridor.
• The authority also recently issued a 14-day notice for the removal of all roadside developments, including billboards and temporary structures, along the route.
