A family in Nairobi's Umoja 1 estate is demanding justice after their relative, Alphy Migasha, died following a severe beating by a military officer. The family accuses the police of inaction, despite a CCTV footage capturing the assault.

• Buruburu DCIO Simon Kirui confirmed the suspect is a military officer and stated police are awaiting autopsy results.
• Alphy's mother, Stella Okinda, alleges the suspect has threatened the family and was linked to two similar incidents previously.
• The family has sought help from Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Mohamed Amin, who confirmed receiving the complaint.
