Guardian Coach has strongly denied social media claims that the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) suspended its operations. The company confirmed it is fully operational and compliant with transport sector regulations, while the NTSA clarified its actions against other operators.

• The NTSA suspended operating licenses for four other transport operators: Monna Comfort Sacco, Greenline Company, Naekana Route 134 Sacco Ltd, and Uwezo Coast Sacco.
• Guardian Coach and Nanyuki Express Cab Services Ltd were issued a 21-day ultimatum to comply with traffic regulations.
• Guardian Coach is required to disengage 18 drivers, and Nanyuki Express must disengage 26 drivers due to speeding violations during the December 2025 festive season.
• The NTSA will conduct a safety compliance audit on the suspended operators before reinstating their licenses, advising the public not to use their vehicles.
