Safaricom has quietly removed the popular “Make Ur Bundle” feature from its latest MySafaricom app (v1.27.1.10), forcing users to access custom bundle creation via the *544# USSD code.

The dedicated tile for “Make Ur Bundle” is no longer present in the app's interface.
The change affects users who previously enjoyed granular control over spending, such as setting exactly KES 20 for data or voice.
Users are now pushed towards Go Monthly plans, Tunukiwa (personalized offers), or No Expiry bundles within the app.
The backend system for creating custom bundles remains accessible by dialing *544# and selecting Option 6.
