The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) has dismantled a high-end drug den in Utange, Kisauni Sub-County, Mombasa, seizing over KSh 4 million worth of heroin and arresting two suspects. This operation highlights Kenya's ongoing efforts against drug trafficking, including significant interceptions of hard drugs and the establishment of specialized courts.

• 1,346 grams of heroin, valued at an estimated Sh4,092,000, were recovered from the residential home.
• The operation was conducted by the DCI Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU), the Transnational Organised Crime Unit (TOCU), and Kiembeni Police Station.
• A digital weighing scale and a drying machine were also seized, indicating drug processing for distribution.
