The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) announced that its university and college placement portal will open in March for student applications. This move prepares for the transition of learners to tertiary institutions, typically beginning in September.

• KUCCPS CEO Agnes Wahome stated the portal will provide guidance materials for applicants to make informed university and college selections.
• KUCCPS has established dedicated desks at Huduma centres nationwide with trained personnel to assist students with applications, especially those with internet challenges.
• A three-day career guidance conference will be held from January 27 to 29, 2026, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, featuring over 100 institutions to guide students and parents on higher education and career choices.
