• KMD clarified that warmer temperatures currently experienced are normal for January, February, and March, which are typically the hottest months.
• The weatherman predicts predominantly sunny and dry conditions for January 27 to February 2, 2026, across much of the country.
• Average daytime temperatures above 30°C are expected in Coastal, North-eastern, and North-western Kenya, among other areas, while night-time temperatures may fall below 10°C in parts of the Central Highlands.
