Nairobi will host the first African edition of Gulfood360, the world's largest food and beverage trade platform, establishing Kenya as a central hub in Africa's expanding food economy.

• The event is scheduled from May 4 to 6, 2027, following an announcement at Gulfood 2026 in Dubai on January 28.
• The initiative is supported by the Kenya–United Arab Emirates Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) and various Kenyan ministries, aiming to transform domestic production into export opportunities.
• Kenya's selection highlights significant investments in infrastructure, including upgrades to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, the Port of Mombasa, and multimodal trade corridors, facilitating exports and strengthening supply chains for an African food economy projected to reach $567.31 billion (Sh73.2 trillion) by 2032.
