The Digital Boda Drivers and Deliveries Association of Kenya has strongly condemned recent arson attacks on matatus, disassociating their members from the violence and calling for an end to collective punishment against boda boda riders.

• The association's president, Calvince Okumu, stated, "These acts do not represent the boda boda sector and must not be used to justify collective punishment of law-abiding riders."
• They are calling for immediate and inclusive stakeholder engagement involving boda boda associations, SACCOs, matatu owners, and government agencies to address safety and discipline concerns.
• Eminent SACCO chairman Denis Ochieng emphasized that boda boda riders are often unfairly blamed for violence despite also suffering fatalities and injuries on the roads.
