Kakuzi Plc, a listed agribusiness firm, has introduced loose-leaf tea packets to its local product line under the brand Kakuzi Pure Black Tea. This move is part of a diversification strategy aimed at mitigating export risks and boosting earnings.

- Managing Director Chris Flowers stated this is the first time Kakuzi is delivering a quality tea brand for the local market, sourced from its Kaboswa Tea Estate in Nandi County.

- This new product complements other local offerings such as ready-to-eat macadamia, cold pressed macadamia oil, and blueberry products.
