The mysterious death of Rachael Moraa, a 23-year-old Naivasha woman, is under investigation after her body was found at Naivasha Sub-County Hospital mortuary on December 17, 2025. Moraa went missing on December 8, 2025, shortly after a quarrel with her British boyfriend regarding a Kinamba house.

• An autopsy by government pathologist Titus Ngulungu revealed Moraa died of internal bleeding from trauma caused by a blunt object, despite initial reports of a hit-and-run accident.
• Her British boyfriend, who reportedly flew back home, had purchased a Sh8.6 million house for her and was in a dispute over its ownership.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) Homicide department has taken over the case, identifying five individuals for questioning and analyzing phone data from Moraa’s last hours.
