Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang’ has defended the Senate County Public Accounts Committee (CPAC) against accusations of extortion from governors, suggesting a deliberate effort to obstruct the timely review of county audit reports.

Senator Kajwang’, Chair of CPAC, warned that failure to scrutinize reports within the constitutional three-month timeline would invalidate the committee’s recommendations, thereby exonerating implicated governors.
