Huduma Kenya has announced a new system for notifying applicants when their driving licenses, national identity cards (IDs), and birth certificates are ready for collection. Applicants will receive direct communication via phone call or text message from official Huduma Centre numbers.

• Applicants will be contacted from two approved official Huduma Centre numbers: 1919 and 020 690 0020.
• The announcement follows the Ministry of Interior's phased rollout of the national ID registration exercise.
• Currently, 260,000 processed documents remain uncollected at various Huduma Centres, including 132,083 National ID Cards, 88,963 Smart Driving Licences, and 40,615 Birth Certificates.
