The suspect, identified as one of Nakuru County’s most notorious cannabis traffickers, was apprehended as he prepared to supply drugs to students.

Cannabis was found concealed in underground bunkers and domestic animal pens at the suspect's residence.
The operation was led by NACADA (National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse) after weeks of surveillance.
NACADA CEO Anthony Omerikwa highlighted that 23-26 percent of university students have used cannabis, often starting in late secondary school or early university.
