The National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Board of Directors has appointed Nashon Kondiwa as the new Director General, effective February 17. He will serve a three-year term, succeeding George Njao.

• Kondiwa brings over 22 years of experience in information and communication technology (ICT) and related fields.
• Prior to this role, Kondiwa was the Deputy Director for Information and Communication Technology at NTSA.
• The appointment comes as NTSA intensifies efforts to enhance road safety and digitize services in Kenya’s transport sector.
