The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) announced the appointment of Engineer Luka Kimeli as its new Director General, effective February 17. This followed a competitive and transparent recruitment process conducted in accordance with the Kenya Roads Act, 2007.

• Engineer Luka Kimeli previously served in the role in an acting capacity following the resignation of Engineer Kungu Ndung'u.
• He brings 27 years of experience in infrastructure development, strategic program delivery, and public sector leadership.
• The KeNHA Board Chairperson, Winfrida Ngumi, expressed full confidence in Eng. Kimeli's capacity to enhance efficiency and accountability in highway infrastructure.
