Athletics Kenya (AK) is currently selecting Team Kenya for the upcoming World Athletics Indoor Championships in Kujawy Pomorze, Poland, from March 20 to 22. The selection process is influenced by performances in the World Athletics Indoor Tour and criteria from the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU).

• World Athletics has allocated Kenya six slots for the championships.
• Paul Mutwii, senior deputy president of AK’s department of competitions and technical, stated that athletes will require clearance from the Anti-Doping Agency of Kenya and the AIU.
• Six women, including world 1500m silver medallist Dorcus Ewoi and Kip Keino Classic 400m champions Mercy Oketch and Gladys Chepngetich, have met entry requirements, while only two men, 2022 world indoor 800m silver medallist Noah Kibet and Festus Lagat, have done so.
