The Kenya Golf Union (KGU) has announced a strong ten-man amateur team to represent Kenya at the 2026 Victoria Cup, to be held at Entebbe Golf Club in Uganda from March 3-8. The team, led by Royal Nairobi’s John Lejirma, aims to reclaim the prestigious title.

• The team was selected based on performance in the 2025 Kenya Amateur Golf Championship (KAGC) standings and the Junior Golf Foundation (JGF) Order of Merit.
• Key players include John Lejirma, along with Elvis Muigua, Isaac Makokha, Daniel Kiragu, and Ebill Omollo from the KAGC series.
• Junior players selected from the JGF Order of Merit are Junaid Manji, Tsevi Soni, Yuvraj Rajput, and Mwathi Gicheru, with Kevin Anyien as a wildcard pick.
• The team will be coached by Ali Khimji, with Brian Akun serving as team manager and Chris Kinuthia as head of delegation.
