President William Ruto has assented to three significant bills at State House, Nairobi. These bills aim to improve public services, streamline agricultural sectors, and professionalize social work.

• The Births and Registration Amendment Bill, 2024, will establish at least one birth and death registration office in each sub-county, addressing the current shortfall of 143 centers.
• The Pyrethrum Repeal Bill, 2024, sponsored by Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah, seeks to eliminate regulatory duplication in the pyrethrum sector.
• The Social Work Professionals Bill of 2023 will establish the Institute of Social Work Professionals and a regulatory board for the profession.
