Senior Counsel Charles Kanjama has been elected the 52nd President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) in the election held on February 19. He secured 3,728 votes to defeat rivals Peter Wanyama and outgoing Vice President Mwaura Kabata. Kanjama will succeed Faith Odhiambo and lead the organization of over 20,000 practising advocates for a two-year term.
