Police at the Isebania border seized a Toyota Probox carrying sodium cyanide and explosives, believed to have been smuggled from Tanzania. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled, prompting a manhunt as investigations into the origin and destination of the dangerous consignment continue.

• 12 drums of 50 kilograms each of sodium cyanide and two cartons of V6 Explogel explosives were recovered.
