Two individuals have tragically lost their lives in a severe road accident involving two trucks on the Southern Bypass in Langata, Nairobi County, on the morning of February 23, 2026.

• Two people died at the scene.
• The accident involved a trailer truck and a lorry, both heading in the same direction.
• Area Chief George Mukuria attributed the crash to wrongful overtaking by speeding vehicles, noting the area is a notorious black spot.
